The presentation will cover the 8 core ideas that give insight into Asperger’s created by people with Asperger’s. The topics covered will range from getting out of defense mode to hygiene to video game addictions. After, a discussion will be led by Valerie Plummer, a Parent Education Consultant and certified individual and family life coach.

Parents of Aspies Support Group
Our support group is for parents or caregivers of individuals with high-functioning Autism/Aspergers. The purpose of our support group is to share our concerns, what is working or not working, learn from each other’s experiences and support one another. The group meets on the 2nd Saturday of every month.

Second Annual Ring of Community Luncheon – April 19, 2018
The 2nd Annual Shire House Ring of Community Luncheon took place on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at The Sheraton San Jose, located at 1801 Barber Way, Milpitas, CA. This moving and informative fundraiser was emceed by the dynamic Bay Area media host, Lissa Kriesler, “the voice of the Silicon Valley”.
Our keynot speaker was Dr. Kenneth Roberson, PhD., a San Francisco-based expert in the adult autism circle. He is the author of Adult Asperger’s Syndrome, The Essential Guide.
